Pickle Billers ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App").

1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name.
- Match Data: Scores, opponents, dates, and locations of matches you log.
- Profile Information: Username, avatar selection, skill level, and visibility preferences.
- Camera and photos: If you take or choose a profile photo, we access the camera or photo library only when you use that feature; we use those images for your profile as described below.
- Pro Analytics (Pro Subscribers Only): Shot-level statistics (e.g., third shot drop success rates) and heat map coordinates for winning shots, when you use Pro features.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version.
- Usage Data: How you interact with the App, including features used and session duration.
- Crash Reports: Anonymous crash and error data to improve stability (via Firebase Crashlytics).
1.3 Location Data
- Court Check-ins: If you enable location services, we may collect your location when you check in at courts or search for nearby courts.
- Incognito Mode: When Incognito Mode is enabled, we limit data sharing and do not associate your activity with your public profile for rankings or social features.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features
- Calculate and display your stats, evolution progress, and rankings
- Enable social features (friends, following, leaderboards) when you opt in
- Process Pro subscription payments and manage your Pro entitlement
- Send transactional emails (e.g., welcome, Pro upgrade confirmation)
- Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the user experience
3. Incognito Mode
Incognito Mode limits how your data is shared:
- Your stats and match history are not shown on public leaderboards or to non-friends.
- Your activity is not surfaced in social or discovery features.
- You can enable or disable Incognito Mode at any time in Settings.
Incognito Mode does not affect data we retain for your account (e.g., for stats calculation or support).
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service Providers: Firebase (authentication, database, hosting), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Resend (email), and analytics providers, under strict data processing agreements.
- Other Users: Only when you choose to share (e.g., public profile, friends list, leaderboard participation).
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.
5. Data Retention
- Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion for backup and legal compliance.
- Match Data: Retained for your stats and history unless you delete your account or request deletion.
- Pro Analytics: Only stored and processed when you have an active Pro subscription.
6. Your Rights
You may:
- Access your account data and profile
- Correct or update your information in Settings
- Delete your account (which will remove your data from our systems)
- Opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe links in emails)
- Enable Incognito Mode to limit public visibility
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures (encryption, secure authentication) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.
